By emitting powerful laser shock waves, we can shatter the large ink particles into tiny particles which the body's immune system will remove. This means the tattoo gradually starts to fade and then will disappear altogether. Due to the tattoo selectively absorbing the laser energy, the surrounding skin does not become harmed or overheated.

Typically most patients need 8-12 sessions; this does depend on the tattoo.
